LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER
Friends of the InfoGuide,
As we close out 2025, I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you. This fall,
The Florida InfoGuide was honored by the Florida Magazine Association with two
awards: the Charlie Award—their highest recognition—for Best Redesign of a Large
Circulation Consumer Magazine, and the Bronze Award for Best Visitor Publication
– All Consumer.
These awards mark an important milestone in our 25-year history. Earlier this year,
we completed the first major overhaul and format change since our founding,
transitioning from a full-size magazine to a digest size that
is more portable, reader-friendly, and cost-efficient. This
redesign allowed us to celebrate the incredible legacy of
our retiring founder, Bob Marcus, who devoted decades
to building this publication into the most respected
visitor guide in Tampa Bay. It also gave our in-house
design team the chance to showcase their creativity and
hard work on a statewide stage, competing against some
of the most prominent consumer magazines in Florida.
Beyond the pages of the magazine, we have invested
in new tools to strengthen our service. Our delivery team is now supported by
a state-of-the-art distribution platform that ensures we can manage and service
our extensive network of hotels, kiosks, and visitor centers with precision. Looking
ahead, we are excited to welcome a new intern and a sales professional to help us
continue our growth.
This has been a challenging year. The lingering effects of last season’s hurricanes have
strained many of our local businesses, and in response, we provided complimentary
advertising to help support their recovery. While the financial impact has been
significant for us, we are optimistic about rebuilding stronger in the months ahead.
