LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER

Hey there, Friends of the FiG,

What a start to 2025 it’s been! We kicked off the year with a bang—

literally—at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, where we made

our debut as an official exhibitor. From the pulse-pounding action on the

track to the thousands of race fans who stopped by our tent, it was an

incredible opportunity to shine a spotlight on the amazing local businesses

we feature. Huge thanks to everyone who came out, grabbed a guide,

and snagged some of our exclusive merch designed by local legend Chad

Mize.

We’ve also welcomed a new face to our team—Omar

Garza, our newest distribution associate. Omar is

a former Marine and seasoned project manager

who’s already making sure the InfoGuide hits

our 400+ distribution points with military-

grade precision. He’s a great addition to the

crew, and we’re lucky to have him on board.

And here’s some news we’re especially proud of:

Florida InfoGuide is a finalist in TWO 2025 Florida

Magazine Association Charlie Awards! We’re in the

running for Best Redesign and Best Tourism-Related Publication, and we

couldn’t be more excited. Final results come out in August, so cross your

fingers for us.

Of course, Amos the MVGreyhound is still out exploring—sniffing out the

coolest spots, meeting local legends, and helping us tell the stories that

make Tampa Bay such a special place. You’ll see him in the pages of this

issue and all over our social media, so if you’re not following along yet,

now’s the time.

Thanks for continuing to support us and the

incredible small businesses that keep this area

buzzing. We’re grateful to be on this ride with

you—and can’t wait for what’s next.

Onward,
